Goodbye Grow

An iced landscape greeted me this morning. The chimney puffed brightly into the hardening air. My tomato plants said their last howdy do yesterday for today they are a dewy mush. In saying goodbye to my garden companions I am curious about what thrives in challenging conditions. (Borrowed these images from the digital spider-web)

This silly moss is indifferent to Antarctica's cold demeanor.

This fungi really knows how to have fun.

Clever Lion's Mane can outwit frigid temperatures at will.

Crocus in the snow is my favorite site of all.
